Heidi Anderson, MFT-Intern
Heidi holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University and is currently practicing as a licensed intern. She works with individuals, couples, and families to support clients in building healthier, more fulfilling lives. Her approach is collaborative and reflective, incorporating mindfulness, compassion, and a belief in each person’s capacity for
growth and change. Heidi strives to create a space where clients feel safe to reflect and connect with their inner strength. She especially enjoys supporting clients as they explore self-worth and life transitions and the ways it shapes their relationships, choices, and overall well-being. She approaches each person with genuine curiosity, respect, and care.
Originally from Iowa, Heidi has called Reno home for over a decade. She has a deep love for animals and has volunteered as a certified wildlife rehabilitator, raising raccoons and songbirds, and fostering dozens of dogs over the years. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and visiting their three adult children. Hiking and quiet moments in nature are an important part of how she restores balance and perspective in her own life.
