Grant Wetteland, LMFT

Grant Wetteland is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over four years of experience supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges. He earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and currently provides counseling services through American Comprehensive Counseling Services (ACCS) in Reno, Nevada.

Grant works with clients ages 12 and older and supports people facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, addiction, relationship challenges, and other life transitions. Rather than focusing on a single specialty, he takes a flexible, client-centered approach that allows him to meet people where they are and address the unique concerns they bring into therapy.

At the heart of Grant’s work is the belief that therapy should be a safe, supportive space where individuals feel heard, respected, and understood. He recognizes that each person is the expert in their own life. Because of this, his role is not to provide all the answers, but to collaborate with clients as they explore their experiences, gain insight, and discover solutions that feel meaningful and sustainable for them.

Grant strives to create an environment where clients can speak openly about difficult topics without fear of judgment. Through thoughtful conversation, reflection, and practical strategies, he works alongside clients to help them build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move toward the goals that matter most to them. His approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to helping people grow and thrive.

Outside of his work as a therapist, Grant enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing by campfires, and looking up at the night sky. He values quiet moments of reflection and connection, which help him maintain a sense of peace and perspective in his own life.
